This collection of new music is appropriate for preludes or postludes.

I will continue to post new things periodically to this section with the hope that

these short works will provide an interesting and increasingly useful repertoire

to the church organist who is in search of some new material.

St. Mary’s Church, Frittenden, Kent, UK is in a small village with about 300 households. Rectors are recorded, continually, from 1279, and paintings and prints of the church in the 18th and 19th centuries survive. When the church was restored (by Hussey) in the 1840s it was found to be in such poor condition that it had to be largely rebuilt though parts of the original can still be seen. The organist is Morwenna Brett, known in the UK as The Lady Organist. She publishes an online magazine with periodic discussions about organ performance and technique.
