I started writing this suite for two pianos in the Fall of 1968, finishing it in the Fall of 1970, almost exactly two years after its inception. It is mostly a delicate and sensitive paean to the glory of the sun that gives us warmth and life. In another section of my piano music are some pieces for children (Like A Diamond In The Sky) that give equal homage to the night sky.
